Why the surgeon matters more than anything Surgical results and safety depend
Check 1: Qualifications and licensing Confirm the surgeon is a properly qualified,
Check 2: Experience with your specific procedure General qualification isn't enough — ask
about experience with the specific procedure you're considering. A surgeon who regularly performs your procedure is preferable to one who rarely does. Ask how often they do it and about their experience and approach. Genuine experience with your operation is a key factor in both safety and results.
Check 3: An accredited, properly-equipped facility Where surgery is performed matters: it
should be an appropriately accredited, licensed facility with proper surgical and anaesthetic standards and emergency provisions — not an under-equipped setting. Ask where your procedure would be carried out. A proper surgical environment is part of what keeps you safe, and a reputable surgeon operates only in appropriate facilities.
Check 4: An honest, thorough consultation A trustworthy surgeon provides a thorough,
unpressured consultation — assessing your suitability, explaining realistic results, being honest about risks and recovery, answering your questions, and being willing to say no if surgery isn't right for you. Red flags: pressure, rushing, "guaranteed" or "perfect" results, downplaying risks, or pushing you toward surgery you're unsure about. The consultation is where you assess the surgeon as much as the procedure. (See our red flags guide.)
Your pre-surgery checklist Before trusting any surgeon: ✔ qualified, licensed plastic surgeon
(valid DHA licence) ✔ genuine experience with your procedure ✔ accredited, properly-equipped facility ✔ thorough, honest, unpressured consultation ✔ realistic expectations set, risks explained ✔ willing to say no ✔ you feel comfortable and unrushed. Take your time, get a second opinion if unsure, and never let price or pressure override safety. At Endless Beauty Clinic, surgery is performed by a licensed plastic surgeon, with full credentials discussed at consultation. Individual results vary.
