Breast augmentation is surgery to increase breast size and improve shape or symmetry, using either implants or the patient's own fat (fat transfer). What is breast augmentation?

Breast augmentation (augmentation mammoplasty) enhances breast volume and shape. It can address smaller breast size, a loss of fullness after pregnancy or weight change, or a difference in size between the two sides. It changes size and shape — it does not lift significantly drooping breasts, which may instead need a breast lift, sometimes combined with augmentation.

Your options: implants or fat transfer

There are two main approaches, and the right one depends on your anatomy and goals:

• Implants — silicone or saline implants placed to add volume and shape.

• Fat transfer — liposuction of fat from one area, purified and injected into the breasts for a more modest, natural increase.

Who might consider it?

This surgery may suit adults who are in good general health, have realistic expectations, and would like more breast volume or improved symmetry. Suitability is always assessed individually — including your medical history and goals — during consultation. It is not advised during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

What to expect

After a detailed consultation and assessment, the procedure is carried out under general anaesthesia. Technique, incision placement and (for implants) size and position are planned to suit your frame. Dr. Fadaei performs the surgery in-house at Endless Beauty Clinic, and you will receive clear pre- and post-operative guidance.

Recovery

Most people take time off to rest in the first days, with swelling and tenderness that ease gradually over the following weeks. Strenuous activity and heavy lifting are limited for a period advised by your surgeon, and a supportive garment is often recommended. Full settling of shape can take several weeks to months. Risks & considerations

As with any surgery, breast augmentation carries risks, which are discussed honestly at consultation — including bleeding, infection, scarring, changes in nipple or breast sensation, and reactions to anaesthesia. Implants are not lifelong devices and may need monitoring or further surgery over time. Being fully informed is part of deciding whether surgery is right for you.
