Bikini vs Brazilian: what's the difference?
- Bikini treats the bikini line— the hair that would show outside underwear or swimwear. Brazilian treats a more complete area, including more of the intimate region. Clinics define these slightly differently, so it's worth confirming exactly what's included before you book.
- You can also choose how much you want treated— it's entirely your preference. See our bikini & Brazilian service.
Why is it so popular?
The intimate area is prone to ingrown hairs, irritation and razor bumps from shaving and waxing. Laser offers long-term reduction that ends most of that maintenance and irritation — which is why, once people do this area, it's often the one they're most glad they did. Results build over a course of sessions.
Does it hurt, and is it comfortable?
The intimate area is more sensitive than, say, the legs, so you'll feel the pulses more — but cooling technology and tailored settings keep it manageable, and many find it more comfortable than waxing the same area. A numbing option can be discussed for sensitivity. See our does it hurt article.
What about privacy and hygiene?
This is a personal area, so a reputable clinic treats it with discretion, professionalism and strict hygiene. At Endless Beauty Clinic, intimate-area treatments are carried out privately and respectfully by trained practitioners. You should expect a clean, professional environment, clear explanation, and respect for your comfort throughout.
How to prepare and what aftercare to expect Shave (don't wax or pluck) the area
beforehand, arrive with clean skin free of products, and disclose any recent sun exposure. Afterwards, the area may be slightly red briefly; avoid heat (hot baths, sauna), friction, the pool and intense exercise for a day or two, and follow your clinician's aftercare. Our preparation guide covers the full checklist. Individual results vary.
